Aardvark Medical has developed a unique and proprietary technology will take sinus and nasal care to a new level, and be an important player in the half billion-dollar/year nasal product market. It also has applications beyond the nose, such as ear cleaning, portable wound irrigation, and pulmonary and nasal drug delivery.

They needed a web presence that would introduce them to the investment market without revealing their plans to potential competitors. We designed and coded the new site including a password-protected area for investors only.

FiltrBox is a content monitoring and filtering service for blogs, news sites and other websites. Today, content is filtered by topics, keywords and context and then delivered to the user via RSS, email and/or text messages. In future the content will be managed via a sophisticated dashboard.

We designed the Filtrbox logo and corporate web presence. We continue to work with FiltrBox on their dashboard and other aspects of their service.

Web SiteSt. David's Healthcare

St. David's is the largest hospital network and healthcare provider in Texas. They needed to serve the wide array of audiences that interact with the hospital via the web: patients seeking answers to health questions, visitors looking for directions, administrators, job applicants etc. The new site would get all of them to the right information quickly and easily.

In addition to creating a cohesive design for the site, we also left St. David's with a detailed style guide that helps them select new photographs and manage layouts via their CMS.

Web SiteUnderstanding Health

Understanding Health was the name of a proposed informational site aimed at women's health issues. Stormlab was subcontracted to produce the design for this site.

Understanding Health was a platform for acclaimed women's doctor, Nancy Synderman, and featured the groundbreaking use of flash video outside of a traditional 'player'. Using this, Dr. Nancy was able to actually walk across the page during her introduction.

Iptivia is an East Coast company that specializes in delivering high-fidelity service assurance solutions for next generation networks. We were asked to redesign their existing web site and give a more professional look and feel.

Extensive use was made of our Silver Slideshow module on the home page for both the header animation and the customer logos.

Playa Lake Joint Ventures is a non-profit group that defends prairie wetlands across six states in the mid west.

We designed and produced their site including a comprehensive Content Management System that ties into their internal project tracking database. Now all of their content, projects and grant applications can be managed online directly through our system.

Campus Vortex is 'Craigslist' for University students. Started by Eli Alford-Jones, a junior at the University of Oregon, the system aims to connect like-minded college students who want to buy and sell cars, skis, stereos etc. It also allows them to trade services within their local area.

We designed the site, the logo and built a completely custom classified system based on the Code Igniter framework. It allows users to quickly and easily post their items as well as contacting other posters. There is a robust admin backend through which Eli is able to moderate posts and oversee activity. Adding a new school is very simple as the database is self-replicating.

Desi Hits is a portal for all things Desi (people or things of South Asian origin). Our job in working with them was to create nothing less than a multi-media publishing platform. We started with a custom blogging engine that we wrote from the ground up using Code Igniter. To this we added a Flash audio player that was capable of grabbing all of the podcasts uploaded by Desi Hits to a specific folder.

The system is backed with a customized version of our Carbon CMS that helps Desi Hits administer content (text, audio and video), users, comments, advertising as well as a slew of other features.

Climate360 is an online clearinghouse for funding issues that relate to the environment. The site is divided into two parts: an area where different projects can be promoted and a blog for general discussion.

We create the logo, the site design, all of the illustration, the printed promotional materials and a custom backend that runs on our own Oxygen blogging platform. Our Carbon CMS (Content Management System) manages users, permissions and content.

Hirebridge is a online recruitment firm based in Florida that leverages the web to simplify the lives of HR managers everywhere. They needed a site that would help them stand out from the growing crowd in their field.

One thing that all of their competitors have in common is that they use a white background so the first and most obvious thing that we did differently was to use a darker background. We offset the main body of the page to the right of the navigation and generally streamlined the content in order to focus on the main parts of the Hirebridge message.

This design represents a comp for an internal site that Wells Fargo branch managers can use to plan marketing campaigns among minority groups. We were subcontracted to provide the design aspects of this project. While the brief required us to abide by the very strict Wells Fargo branding rules, we were still able to create a flexible design template that could accommodate the vast array of information available on this site.
