PreRace.com is looking to become the leading portal for race information. Starting with cycling races, they hope to expand soon into running, cross-country skiing and triathlon.
We created the calendar engine for PreRace using Code Igniter. Our custom built app allows PreRace staff to update and manage data on over 5,000 races countrywide. The site uses the OpenX ad platform to manage all of it’s own advertising.
Users of the site can filter the race data by region, state, zip or date allowing them to quickly hone in on the events that interest them most. In addition to comprehensive search functionality, races can be displayed in a list or calendar view.
